What the Ohio figures mean
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported 215 motorcycle-involved fatal traffic crashes resulting in 219 deaths in 2024, in its 2024 Operational Report. The report describes the data as provisional. These are fatal crashes, not all motorcycle crashes, and they are not a count of injuries.
What the NYC feed means
